...Still playing that game

Well little baby is one day overdue, so far, just spoke to Rosa and she said Ben was 2 and half weeks late!! But I think hospitals now don't let you go more than 2 weeks over. Baby must be very chilled out and just loving it in there, I'm trying to keep positive and think s/he will come when they're ready. Must admit though it is getting a bit difficult to keep trying to find things to do round the house, I've been going for walks but get knackered so quickley and with Steve needing the car for work I'm a bit house bound really. Today I have very carefully and attentively done the ironing, watched "Chocolat" and baked oatmeal cookies. Everything is clean, everything is packed for hospital, everything is ready ...except the most important thing of all -baby!

Thanks to everyone who has rung or texted saying you're thinking of us and praying, really appreciate it. We will let you know when baby is here so don't worry. Just in case anything does happen tonight, we're keeping hospital visitors to family, but will let you know when we're coming home and would love to introduce you to baby then. Steve will be in charge of making sure we don't have too many lovely people round at once so if you could ring or text him before you pop round that'd be cool.

Big love.

Hey Jo. Thanks for your text last night. I did reply but don't think you get them. Good job really cos would be asking if the baby has come yet and driving you crazy!! hehe. Well obviously you have made a very comfy home for them so don't wanna come out. Thinking of ya both and sorry I wouldn't be around to bug steve with text messages about coming to visit ya all the time. hehe. All the best. You will both be great! Will let you know when your dream you had the other night comes true. hehe

Hi Joanna and Steve and Special K. You certainly sound prepared and aware of how your lives will change once Special K arrives. We love you very much and I am so looking forward to meeting Steve and Special K. I am thrilled that Nana has made up a basket of goodies for you. That is my thing over here too. I can still see Alexander holding you as a tiny bub Joanna and the look of adoration of his face. He and Mum will be wonderful grandparents and all of Steve's family too. I am sure Rachel is looking forward to being a first time Aunty. Love to you all. Mary and Rascal in NZ
